The past few days were spent at home with Kira between jobs and the follow are questions she asked when she woke up from her naps. I guess you could say they might give an idea to what she dreams about.

Kira: Daddy, when you a little boy did you go on the climbing wall?
Daddy: Yeah sometimes.
Kira: Oh.

Kira: Daddy, when you a little boy did you have a wock collection?
Daddy: Yeah actually I did.
Kira: Oh.

Bribe gone wrong.

Kira and I have been sick for the past few days and I had to give her medicine this morning. She knows that it doesn’t taste that great, but she never has any problem drinking it. The other day she actually said she liked it because it tasted like candy. Well, this morning I tried to bribe her and she won.

Daddy: Kira it’s time to take your medicine now.
Kira: No0ooo I’m fine!
Daddy: No, we’re still sick and we have to take our medicine. Come on, I’ll give you another tattoo. You can pick whichever one you want from your tattoo book.
Kira: OK.

(10 seconds later)

Kira: And you give me one chocolate, and one lollipop too.
Daddy: OK

Needless to say, she took her medicine and luckily forgot about the tattoo and candy by the time we went downstairs! 🙂

One is more than none, right?

Today we went to Arianna’s third birthday party and they were throwing candy out for the kids. Kira managed to get one little baggy of orange, Batman gummies. She wasn’t very happy.

Kira: I really grumpy Daddy.
Daddy: Why?
Kira: Because. I only have one candy.
Daddy: That’s good! All the kids have candy, everyone is sharing. One is more than none, right?
Kira: No.
Daddy: Yes it is, one is more than none.
Kira: Nooo it not.
Daddy: Well then what’s more than none???
Kira: A lot. A lot of candies.

P.P.C.

Today we took Kira to the park that was just built in our neighborhood. No pictures of her riding her scooter with her helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and gloves but she won’t go on her scooter anymore without them. On the way back home from the park she had an accident right on the sidewalk. When she got home, all she thought about was eating so she ate a little spaghetti and some corn.
Park. Pee. Corn.
